HPS or LED?

Is it better to grow with HPS lighting or LED? What are the advantages/disadvantages to both?

I don't think the LED technology is advanced enough yet to make the price of them worth it... just my .02

LED's cost too much... you would need almost 2grand just to match a 400-600w HPS.
if you got 2k then you good...

LED isn't up to par with HPS yet, LEDS can be the future but right now aint worth shit.

Do me a favor and don't buy an LED light, you are wasting your money.

If we can't change your mind I am really thinking about building some LED lights to sell, I can beat the specs off of a UFO light all day long and still make a couple hundred dollars for my time. If you are going to throw your money away it might as well be to a member of this board than a stranger.
