Ok so right now im growing in my closet with an hps light. For a couple reasons i would like to get my closet space back just because of a lot of clutter and what not, also because growing in a closet is kind of suspicious. I was thinking about doing the old gut a dresser and grow inside it. I used to use cfls to grow but i got a 150watt hps light instead, i was just wondering if using that in a dresser would work good? Im going to come up with some plans or possibly start working on this project this coming week. I plan to do a very good job on it so from the start i want to get everything in there that i need. If you guys could also please maybe just list off a few things i should take into consideration while making this. I'd like to get everything right from the start so i dont have to go back over it. Thanks a lot in advance for the help, i will put up some pics once i start working on it, i like to take pride in my work and that normaly results in a good piece of work

SWIM grows ij n a dresser, aboug the same size as yours with a 150 hps, and two 45w cfls. SWIM has been able to yield about 2 1/2 oz dry off one plant with this method. he uses only two computer fans, but has problems with temp if the plants get too tall. a cooltube would be a good investment. pots take up lots of space in a dresser so tour best off to go with square planters that are square shaped, not too tall but take up as much surface.area as possible.
youre best option with a dresser is going to be the scrog. this allows you to maintain an even canopy, and when thing get too thick up top, you can add a couple cfl down below. just remember exhAust goes up top intake goes at the bottom. leave at least a 15 inches from the top of your trellis to the top of your dresser when using a scrog or your plants will get too close to the light and it we all know where that goes.

I have done exactly what you describe. I grow in a dresser with a 150watt HPS. The design of that dresser was revamped a few times while I was putting it together, but it is all in my journal if you're interested.
