The space is 16" x 30", 48" in height. 50 CFM passive exhaust. With a 70W hps security light, the temp is 80-82. This light has the built-in ballast which I assume contributes a lot to the heat.
It would be nice to upgrade to a 250 hps, so the question is... Which would be hotter, the 70W with built-in ballast or the 250W with remote ballast located outside of the grow space?
