HPS Grow closet meltdown?????

I was building a grow box for some CFL, but JUST came across a 250w HPS. This is the Item i will be using below, but the dimensions are 70"x30"x19.5"

I will have a Bathroom exaust fan, 2 fans inside to move air circulation, and 2 intakes=the volume of exaust. Will the HPS be too hot to put in here?

hm may be a tight fit but if everything measures out too fit I think it would work fine , just make sure you measure shit first. Cfls work great though man plus using cfls you could make that thing basically light proof.

You're better off buying an $80 grow tent.

I will still make it CFL capable, only because the HPS is on loan. check out my blueprints haha... if things work out, it should equal up to like 1000w cfl if i really want to.

1000w cfl < 600w hps. You will pay to burn extra energy, not a ton of light. Once you go hps, you'll never go back to cfl, so start shopping now.

also if your box is wooden &doesnt have to be stealthy consider having a hole cut to fit the size of the lite so that it sits on top. that will give you back the height of the light because its not taking up space inside the cab.
