HPS for both Veg and Flower

Does anyone use strictly hps for both veg and flowering? If so do you find it lowers your yield and by how much? Thanks

Yes I do check out my journel I think its better for ya plants because u get thick stems and huge fan leaves + budz to

HPS is fine for vegging, despite it's spectrum not being ideal. I can't think of a reason why it would lower yield.

Use a dual spectrum bulb and have your (hash)cake and eat it.

i also use the 400 HPS for both veg and flowering, i could do without the big ass fan leaves though. my stems are really thick and my lil buds are coming along nicely. no pics though unfortunately. I'm sure that if you only have access to one spectrum HPS is the way to go.

HPS is fine for veg. It creates taller plants with long shoots, compared to an MH which will keep the node spacing a little tighter and keep them a bit shorter.
