Hps Bulbs Changeable?

I Have One Of Those Night Time Street Hps Lights That Have The Light Sensor On Them. It Only Has A 70w Bulb In It. Can I Buy A Higher Wattage Bulb For The Fixur? I Only Have 4 Plant Growing, But I Do Not Feel Like This Will Be Enough Light. Will I Absolutley Need More Light When I Flowwer? Or Could I Get Away With What I Have/

You most likely have a built in ballast so if that is so no you can't change bulbs. A lot of people just use cfl's all the way thru their grow. A 70 watt hps would be more then a lot of cfl grows use.

some street lights are MV not hps. I don't know how the MV light would work. All I ever use are cfl, mh, and hps

Thats what I figured. Did some research and didnt find anybody who had much success with a 70w HPS. Anybody have proven success with a 70 HPS micro grow?
