HPS Bulb Temps

600W bulbs, will some manufactuers bulbs run hotter than others ? I have a Sunmaster and it produces alot heat.
 
good question.. I have no idea..... i look forward to the answer.... Are you exhausting your light? A well exhausted 600 watt light can be kept 2-6 inches from the foliage with incredible results...
