You'll have to watch the trichs obviously but I'd think you can cut anytime your ready. Based on the things you've posted if they are still drinking a ton they are probably still working on bulking up. I bet you would still get more weight/density as they swell if you let them go another week. They will not over ripen in that time.

I'm surprised they're so close only half way through the 7th week from flip considering they're an 8-9 week strain. I'm yhinking of keeping a real close eye on things and see if I can atleast make it into week 8.

Thx guys!

They're really deep in the canopy so its hard to get a good photo. They also appear brown in the photo I took from a distance but I have this up close shot of one I took apart to check for bud rot. The only thing I found under the scope was rich deep colors and no brown or mold. I'm thinking its due to temps below the canopy being 8 degrees cooler.

Harvest came early. Just checked my girls and they're really showing fall colors. Checked the trichs again and they're all cloudy with only one or two ambers.

Going to do 24-48hrs of darkness and see how it goes. I'll search it up but any ideas if I'm supposed to keep normal temps or lower thise as well during the dark period?

Didn't cut yet and gave them an extra day in the light. I had a few ambers and I usually go for half amber but my bud always knocks me on my ass. The pic was a day old so now its been 4 days since the pic was taken. Will harvest in a day or two so theyget the extra week @Thundercat was talking about.

Sorry for the misinformation of my last post.

They are still working hard :). I would bet if you had a way to weight a single cola last week and next week there would be a significant difference.

Hmm that makes me think :). I run many small plants and they are small enough that i could easily weight the whole plant. I might try it next harvest just for fun. Maybe I'll choose a few plants and weigh them each week for the last 3-4 weeks and try to gauge the amount of change during each period.

The plants were starting to feel very wet and even though I keep my heat and humidity right I didn't want to chance mold so I took them down today. I semi-processed, sun leaves and sugar leaves with any stem showing, one plant and boy did my house stink. When my 15 year old got home I said sorry for the smell and he said I don't care.

I scraped the "purple" resin, not much, off my Fiskers, placed it in volcano and boy did I get blasted but not heavy at all. My current Gelato puts me to sleep like a baby and makes me heavy.

My wife cane home and I gave her one hit off the bag, she usually does two to three of the gelato, and she said she was noticeably more stoned off the one hit.

So far so good.

I have a hard time with my back to I try to go through 2 plants a day and each plant takes me two hours.

By the tine I'm done it takes till the next day to be able to move qround again.

Trimming is by far the hardest part of growing in the long run.

IMO it's easier to trim after it's dried. I knock all the big stuff off before drying, but I don't get in there and clean it all up until before cure. Easier on the scissors, too as far as gumming up. As a bonus, all the dry trim you are cutting off you can smoke at the same time while trimming.

It is sad but it takes me that long for just a semi trim. I get rid of any sugar leaf with a stem but leave the rest since I don't sell and I vape so why waste it.

Dinner is served! One more plant down and five more to go and one more tonight.
