Hows this sould

:weed:ok so im growing outdoors this summer in the ground for the first time and i need to know if my plan is good or if it needs improvements......

i'm using the paper towel method to germinate my seeds and once their germinated i'll plant the seeds in little red plastic cups with soil in them. i'll also poke holes at the bottom of each cup for better drainage. i'll set them outside in the sun and leave them their.

once the seeds have sprouted about 5 to 6 inches, i'll transport them to their perminate grow location.

about 3 weeks after transportation i'll start using fertilizer. (if at any time you feel i should be doing something different please feel free to speak up) i'm going to try and get foxfarm nutes but if i can't then i'll just get the most expensive shit i can find.NOT miracle grow-heard bad shit bout that. when i first start i'll use numbers that are something like 20-10-10. when my plants start to show sex, this means i'm starting flowering, right? i'll then buy ferts with numbers like 10-40-10, or just something along those lines....i'll stop fertilizing about 2 weeks before harvest.

now for watering: i forgot what their called but they are like these crystals that you put in soil and it traps and contains water. if i mix these in with the soil around each plant, then i'll water like once a week.i'll try and trap rain water when it rains to water my plants with that but if their is not enough, i'll use tap water

going back to the fertilizing topic: i was planning on fertlizing once every 2 weeks, but if yall have a better suggestion then please let me know. also i was told to dilute a bout 1/2 what the lable says in water, and i've even been told 1/4. what should i do!lol

now for all the damn deer and other animals that will want to feast in my plants, i'm going to piss around the perimeter of my "plantation" to keep them away. i'm also going to put human hair all around my plants. heard that will do it.

now thats pretty much it so many responces would be awesome:blsmoke:

-thanks-

Here's some quick answers, to the best of my knowledge.

1. Germination - Paper towel method works good, but I've also had good success with simply planting in soil in a bucket.

2. Fertilizer is good, just be sure to go SLOW. Start with 25% of the recommended amount then work up to full strength after a couple of waterings. i.e. go up a little each time.

3. Unfortunately, pissing doesn't keep animals away. In fact, they'll come investigate it just to see what the new smell is. I'm not saying they'll stick around, but they will come by to check it out to see if it's another animal in their territory.

4. Flowering - Sometimes you can tell the sex of the plant when it's in pre-flower, i.e. still the veg stage. But for sure you will eventually be able to tell once they start to flower. The only issue is finding the male plants and pulling them BEFORE the pollen balls open up. So that means lotsa trips to the grow site until they start showing male or female.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your grow!

I think you've got a pretty good game plan

Yup, once you see the males, it's my understanding that you have about a week before the pollen sacs open. so if you're checking your grow every couple of days, you should be able to see the males and pull them before you pollinate.

Good luck!

so i could get more responces....i think it's smart but thats just me......yeah it is kind of stupid but what ever:blsmoke:
