How's my 1st grow going?

I'm about a week or to into my first grow, i decided to use cfl's. I have about 12 plants right now under 4 27 watt lights, i know its way too many plants and too little light. I'm getting a bunch more lights tomorrow ( daylight btw). My space right now is a bit small but i'm planning on building a nice box when they outgrow what their in now or maybe sooner. Here's some pictures let me knwo what you guys think... Thanks

not bad for starters,get more lights,lots more.

Ya i actually screwed up and bought more lights for flowering then for the veg stage so do you think i should replace all of them with daylight cfl's, also is it ok to leave both types on for now?

ahh,just use what u got,it might strech the plant a little but it will also simulate the late july sun and cause it to grow alot,use all the bulbs together,and when u feel its ready to flower,then switch it over to 12/12

well I have those 4 27 watt daylights and another 4 27watts plus 2 big 42 watt soft white cfl's in the middle...you don't think its to uneven a ratio?

but what you said might be my best bet for my first time, so i can try again sooner

just go with all the cfls at once,more lights=more lumens=healthier,stronger plant=more bud(depending the genetics and how long u veg) just try to pic up a few more 6500k bulbs,but if u cant then work with what u got.

keep in mind,if u cant grow with what u got then hang it up and call it a day.

wacky mack is very right you should be able to get bud out of them lights and the more lights = more buds

dont veg for too long as your using cfls you want a nice size if you go big you will need more lights for side lighting so the lower buds mature thing

what do you think is too long? Most of my plants haven't gotten bigger then like 3 inches but have big leaves and a few nodes each..do you know why that is?
