How would you set up a your garage?

What would an ideal set up be for using 2 vert bare bulbs in a regular 500 sq garage?

Build a room inside your garage. Seal it and use a mini split for your ac. What size bulb? Hydro? Soil? Plant limits? Budget more importantly?

that's exactly what i did.

built a subfloor, put 1.5 inch rigid foam insulation in between the "floor joists", covered it with OSB, framed it out, hung drywall, insulated with R13 bat insulation, covered with panda film, and installed a mini split.

mine is 10x16 running almost 5k watts.

Did 4 rooms like that in a warehouse. 3600w each. Floor was raised a foot of the ground the 6 40 gallon Rez's were plumbed from the bottom for easy drain. Just turn a knob and it drains completely. All nutrients go into a large sand deposit to be filter before going back into the water table. That plus float valves in each Rez wit on/off switches.
Blue lab Guardians for every Rez, each guardian was modified by a friend, to send a email if parameters got out of wack. Can access all 24 guardians from a program he installed to an email account. By far the best 8gs I've spent on that grow.

Most likely soil open to hydro

Open on the number of plants. I have some experience growing casually. Would like stay with vertical bare bulb.

((I have googled and read a lot of material recently from this site, icmag, ect on a lot of old threads, would like to see some new suggestions / ideas ))

Still looking for some advice. If you had 2 1000 watt vertical handing bulbs (and 2 ballests) and you could tell someone to frame up a room within a standard 2 car garage how would you have it done?

How would you stack the plants?

How many plants would you do?

What size conainers?

Where would you hang the bulbs?

I can build just about anything and i've got a fresh location and i need some outside ideas on a nice set up.

I'm growing for myself (indicas please blueberry, lavender, stuff to put me to sleep!) and hubby (Sativas for him Lambsbread, sourD, ) and a friend who has cancer. (ACDC on deck!)

I wish I could do more to help. I have zero experience with vertical setups so don't feel like it's my place to chime in.

Hey UB, mind posting a few pics of how you laid your out? I am thinking something exactly along those lines/watts so curious how you rigged everything. Whats your power bill per month? Got a thread for that setup?
