I have to get a couple teeth pulled and you cant smoke for 3 days after. I cant go 3 hours without some herb lol. Has anyone figured out a method to smoke afterwards without getting dry sockets?

I had a tooth pulled on Monday last week and smoked a bowl 20 min after getting out of the chair.

The Maxillofacial Surgeon said "I know your gonna smoke anyway so just put some wet gauze
over the extraction site to shield it. Be sure the gauze is wet to protect the clot where the tooth used to be."

    Hope this helps.

No, I just smoked more cause the tooth hole hurt like fuck.

Funny story,my dentist sent me to go see a specialist dentist about removing the tooth.
I pitch up at the guys place... the fucker had only one eye and was telling me how close to the nerve my roots are or some shit. I went home and phoned my dentist to get me ANYBODY else...

The main thing is no tobacco smoking, mmj is fine :leaf:8)...

One thing I do suggest is for you make a gravity bong... the main thing you don't want to do with your tooth sockets is put suction force upon them, the pressure of a pipe will be to much, a regular water pipe will pull on that sensitive socket and cause harm more than likely.

Same thing when your taking a drink, be easy with pulling liquid up with a straw also, I'd avoid straws completely if possible, just as an extra precaution.

But yeah basically you want everything intake into you mouth to flow smoothly over the raw open socket for a week or so til it heals.

So what I'd recommend is just add some fresh cotton before you smoke, get the high flow off a gravity bong or other device that allows you to just breath in with your lips just barely resting in front of the smoke port, you should be good to go.

And lastly you can probably just burn a normal paper or cigar, just do the same very gentle inhale, do a kind of wide mouthed inhale a so on, and I promise you've got nothing to worry about, you're golden.

Awesome thanks for the advice. I dont smoke cigs so im good there lol. Gravity bong is a good idea. Or even an old school lung, so i dont have to use any suction from my mouth. Cool thanks man.

Not a problem at all bro, glad I could offer advice, the main thing is that sensitive nerve ending is resting above where your tooth was, and the suction force / inward pulling draw pressure can effect the nerve and can actually collapse the nerve ending outwards, which can be very painful, and could lead to infection and so on....

I wish you a pleasant tooth removal friend, and a speedy trouble free recovery & medicating's .
