what different things do you need to do for growing in all coco compared to soil? might give it a try since it dries out faster, Thanks.

Sri Lanka and Thailand are both beautiful countries. Thailand is far from a 3rd world country... get out see the world it's not so bad out there.
Some things to look out for is that Coco needs lower ph to soil, it's inert so you will need to add nutrients as soon as the plant needs them, you will probably have to add more Cal mag then you have been, you will probably water more then you did before and more frequently.

It is a better idea in winter than summer. As I don't use recirculating systems, I use a bit of vermiculite, not really needed in winter, I still like how it breaks up the substrate a bit and can hold on to nutrients between sheets. I have a theory that plants are a bit like people, old people and babies have lots in common. So I feed my baby plants old people food... a bit of MPK before I put the seeds in. You are welcome to look at the Roots thread in the general section.

Never added anything to coco the times I used it, and I still keep mothers in pure coco mixes. It's a nice blend of forgiveness and efficiency that I admire, but tend to stick to rockwool in my flower rooms for cleanliness.

Had two growing under a couple of the chinese leds, about 260 or so actual watts combined, I think. I'm harvesting it in 2 phases. I did the tops today. Came out at just over 220g after wet trimming. So it'll be about 18-19lbs dry (right). I figure there'll be better than half of that again after the final harvest. It's personal smoke so the yield is not the primary focus/goal. Anyhow, Its been in coco since it was a seed. 3gal pots, hempy style. I flushed it with 10gal of 5.7 adjusted distilled water before use. Coco is just another method of hydro, best to approach it from that viewpoint. Good luck!
