How to test my amber glass to see if it's purged right

So I bought some amber glass to make edibles. I don't dab too much, so I don't own a skillet or a nail. I wanted to test this amber glass out to see if it's purged correctly. I know that when it hits the skillet or nail it shouldn't bubble or crackle it should just vaporize. Is there anyway to test this without using a nail or skillet?

get a nice glob on the end of your dabber and put a lighter to it really quickly a handful of times and if it sparks or catches fire, you've got tane in it. if not, I would say dab a little and see what it does. Sizzle isnt always bad, that usually means theres some extra water in it.

but yeah, lighter test is a good way to make sure theres not too much tane, if any.

Alright I'll try this. Thanks for clarifying the sizzle thing- I didn't know that was extra water, thought that meant butane as well.

I put the lighter to it a few times and it just melted, but when I held the lighter to it, it bubbled up and sizzled. Not sure if it caught on fire or if the flames just reacted to the bubbling oil. When I put the light to it back and forth it didn't catch fire or bubble/sizzle, just melted. What do you think?
