how to tell when a clone ready to plant?

already thinking i should wait longer but curious how long roots should get...

this has been a cutting in straight water with no humidity dome or rooting horomone, sitting in a window sill... :-/

wait a little longer, i know that some will disagree, but personally I would wait maybe one or 2 more days, shelter the roots from light, this is important.....JR

little longer? before i tried this i was reading up and heard it could take up to a month or so with less than 24/0 lighting.. its only been about a week so far

I rooted some clones using CLONEX and it took around 10days for the root system to be good enough to plant.

You can plant at the first sign of a root tip as long as your medium is fairly mild.

Your past the hard part, give it another day or two until at least 3 or four of the tap roots are a little longer. No point in risking a failed transplant over a few more days of patience.
