how to stunt the height (growth) purosely?

I;m working on a few plants now and am looking to grow a few more however the seeds that i have left are too big for a stealth grow, is there any way to grow them smaller then they are supposed to grow while keeping the plants healthy?
sounds funny right, wanting a small plant haha

bending it and clipping? early flowering schedule...? Try 16/8 for a couple weeks to get 6" or whatever then 12/12 for a couple months. Just throwing out ideas
