How to start seeds?

Hey Rollitup,
Im going to be doing an organic outdoor grow this spring and still cant decide on a few things. Right now I have a soil mix baking that consists of:
2 bags Sungro Black and Gold
2 cups blood meal
2 cups bone meal
Dolomite lime
Epsom salt

I still cant decide how exactly to fill the holes, and more of if I should start the seeds straight in the holes or try and setup something indoor for the first few weeks. Im choosing strains that grow quite lare such as Armagedon and Blue Hash, and I really would like to help them reach near their full potential.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

don't start ur seeds in the ground. get some potted mix and soak it thoroughly so that it still holds it form and using the back part of a pencil poke holes about 1cm deep and place one seed in each hole. u could also use the toilet paper trick ie. put the paper in something wet it and place ur seeds on top,i prefer the 1st way, and keep ur container in a cool dry place until the seeds hatch (about 3-7days). if u have em in potted mix they could stay in there for about 2weeks until u place them in their permanent home. since ur planning on digging holes, they should be 3x3ft deep and wide and place ur mixture in it and transplant ur babies and u should be good.

Thank you jamboss thats what I thought but once I let them grow for 2 or 3 weeks its okay to put them straight into the soil mix? It wont be too hot for them or anything?

You can also germinate in the water beads that expand in water, that's what I use and I get a sprout usually by the next day, if not 2 days after starting the seed.

Is it okay to start seeds in fox farm light warrior then tranfer them to my holes which would be top 1/3 light warrior, middle 1/3 ocean forest, and bottome 1/3 my soil mix. Does that sound good or should i add something to the top 2/3 as well?

i don't get fox farm products where i'm from but as long as ur hatching mediums 'blend' has more peat-moss than other 'stuff' it should be fine. yea that sounds good, also if u have access to good composted cow and sheep manure u could also mix some in ur brew and add some perlite and ur good 2 go. Good luck!

If i start them in 10 or 20 gal smart pots will i be okay to start them outside i feel like everyone does atleast the first month indoors and i dont want to ruin them.
