Many people have entertained the thought of opening their own HeadShop. The drawback has always been, "How Could You Advertise Your Business Economically?" Without advertising, nobody knows you exist. Without traffic, there are no sales.
It's relatively simple to do, but it will require a small to moderate amount of capital.
1) Contact a Wholesale distributor of HeadShop-related products. There are many of them on the Internet.
2) Purchase an array of unique products.
3) List the products on an existing site like www.TabooTrader.com. They'll let you do an Auction-style sale, Auction-style with Buy Now, or a Fixed Price sale. You can even open your own store. They advertise for you and it's free to register and list items.
You will need to set up a PayPal account to accept payment from the buyer.
That's all there is to it. You can even list your products on the site once you have shipping confirmation from the wholesaler. You could be up and running w/in a couple of days.
