how to manipulate ph?

today i am going to measure the ph of the soil.

just in case ph is to low - what do i do?

in case ph is to high (to high.. get it?, haha - what do I do?

should mention that im am three days into flowereing - i am a nubie - plants have been looking green and healty - but checking ph is well over due

Ph levels should be left alone in your soil (Medium) Unless you really know what your doing ...
When people here speak of ph levels they genarally are speaking of ph levels in there nutes (water fertilizers )
You can get ph adjusting fluid usually called ph up and ph down for any good reputable Hydro store ...

this is the worst piece of advice ive seen in a while. Ph should def not be "left alone" in your medium. You need to ph your water to about 6-6.5 and water. test the runnoff water for ph. it should be in the 6-6.5 range if it is not the readjust and try again.

if your worried flush with water ph 6.5..

usually water is too alkaline (7+) so add a tiny bit of vinager to lower the ph.. also if using tap water let it stand in open air to evaparate chloreen.. unless u get your water for a spring in the water.. still check ph..
also lime is something that would make soil more alkaline
but read up on that stuff alot first...

If Measuring pH in Coir system is not straight forward process...One popular misconseption is that pH can be measured at run off waste...
This is not the case due to preferencial retention of cations (on the part of the media )What this means is that the media will retain some elements while releasing other based on plant uptake needs and the prevalling conditions of /within the media ... This process means that the runoff ?waste pH will not reflect media /root zone pH...

The correct way way to measure pHin coco coir is to take samples from around the root zone ... These sample are then added to distilled water at a 5:1 ratio (5 parts distilled water to 1 part media) then blended and tested with a electronic pH Meter ...
