Mount your hood.

Mount your fan.

Connect the 2 with aluminium ducting.

Duct tape and jubilee clips to hold each duct to each item.

If you have a carbon filter then that will need mounting too and connecting to the opposite end of your light.

So it will go.

Hood - ducting - fan - ducting out of tent.

Or it will go
Carbon filter - ducting - hood - ducting - fan - ducting out of tent.

, yah it does the 2nd video covers that

it tells u to hook it up so the wind blows over the light to keep the fan from getting hot and woren from always moving the hot air

u keep the ducting as strait and lvl as u can with as little bends as u can ...................mounting in the tent well that is jerry rigging with bungie cords to hold it to the cross poles in the tent

or u attach it to the wall

if u want to do it like most of us do it

hang the light have the fan suck passed the light to make negitive pressure then link the other side of the cooltube to a carbon filter

Or.........use some self-tapping screws to screw the fan to the filter. So the fan "sucks" from filter. Tape it up with foil tape. Hang fan/filter combo up high. Run ducting to hood, then out of tent. This is how I've been hooking up charcoal filters since the day they came out.
I'm gonna admit, that this way MIGHT not be as efficient as what jondamon has suggested, but I feel it is the safest as far as smell goes.

A hose clamp ?
Hehehe!
Oh, is the OP asking how to mount fan like this:
image.jpg
If he is: he's lucky if it "slips" into the flange on the hood. If it does, self tapping screws, than foil tape.

If it doesn't and just butts up to it: Get some sort of metal strapping, and screw it to both the fan and flange on the hood. Than foil tape :-)

With 6 inch inline's I just sit them in the socks of the tent.
Hood ducting fan.
Here's a pic of my tent with 2 6 inch fans mounted in the socks.

Whats the collar called connecting the fan to the hood? I need one.
they are called hose clamps

they sell alot of different sizes ........honsetly check with local hardware store
https://www.amazon.com/Boao-Pieces-Adjustable-Stainless-Clamps/dp/B07HRRW1PF/

they should run u 98 cents to a 1.15 per clamp .........note before u buy test and make sure the screw on the clamp works some jam up

edit a cheaper method is to just use the ducting and then tap it on (they do make a metal type of tape that works well)
https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Grade-Aluminum-Foil-Tape/dp/B0778PTNHK/

but this is more permit then a clamp
