Ya, there's lots of good vertical growers around here. You just hang a bare bulb vertically and surround it with plants. Some people use a cool tube or a chicken wire cylinder around bulb to protect plants. Lots of subtleties including plant rotation. I'd say it's a medium labor intensity technique.
