Dont fucking do it .

If you dont have somone with you that has done it befor....

Dont rely on forums man .

You need the be confindent in what your doing if your going to be dealing with an extremely flammable liquid .

Are you talking the drinking kind, or the motor fuel? Alcohol is flammable and the fumes are explosive.

If it's the drinking kind...make Green Dragon.

Even if you rid the mixture of all the alcohol, you'd still have a watery sticky mess fit only for edibles.

FIRST of DO NOT USE 70% alcohol!!!

I make a lot of alcohol oil, we call it QWISO. Here is an excellent tutorial for doing a nice job safely https://www.rollitup.org/t/iso-extractions-by-_oakley_.489366/

I use 91% iso alcohol and it works wonderfully and leaves no taste or residue. You can also get 95% everclear drinking alcohol it just cost a lot more. You need to make sure you have over 90% alcohol though or it will have to much water in it.

Do not grind the material before you do this process!! That will make your oil turn out darker and not as tasty.

Freeze everything over night before you do any of this, and keep it as cold as possible while you do the extraction.

I evap my oil in a pyrex dish that I sit on top of my dehumidifier with a little filter cover. Its set up so the warm air moves over the surface of the alcohol and it will usually evaporate to a shatter state in 24 hours. Then scrap with a razor blade and enjoy.

You can totally put it in a joint or bowl, and it will definitely get you high since your burning it. I've used it in cooking without a special decarb stage and it always gets us very high. Usually I prefer dabs off a quartz nail.

This is completely false. You really shouldn't spread misinformation about things you don't understand. Its easy to evaporate alcohol, unlike butane, and its easy to evaporate the tiny amount of water that is left. Then you have a completely pure cannabis oil that is very suitable for dabbing. Typically you do multiple washes on material and get a few quality grades (I do 3 A,B,C).

"A" grade is very premium, ultra clean with tons of terps. The "B" grade is still clean and dabable, but doesn't have the nice terps and taste. The C grade is for edibles, by that point the wash pulls more chloropyl and fats from the material and it is not as nice to dab.

as long as you're burning it, it will work, the burning IS decarboxylation. if you try to eat it....no
qwiso is made with isopropyl alcohol, qwet is made with ethanol (drinking alcohol)...the end product of both is pretty much the same, you don't really need much heat, if you set your container of qwiso/qwet in a pan of warm water and change it out every 20 minutes or so it will speed up the process. a heating pad will work better. i use my seedling mat, doesn't get very warm, but enough to cut the evaporation time in half. a fan blowing across the surface of the pan will speed things up, too, with no added heat

Well 30% isn't alcohol, how do you get rid of that?
You do not use 70% alcohol ever. You always want 90%+ which is easy to find. Any pharmacy or Walmart has 91% ISO, and most liquor stores have 95% ethanol. Thats the first thing I told the OP :).

Also I wasn't trying to sound rude towards you, just wanted to make sure the truth was clear :).

evaporation, just takes longer than the alcohol to evaporate. helps if you spread your product out as much as possible while it's drying. once it's evaporated down to where it's starting to look thick, i have a 12 x 18 silicon mat i use. i put craft sticks under the edges to keep it from flowing off. it spreads out to cover almost the whole mat, and speeds the final process up a lot, and your extract comes off the mat a lot nicer and easier

Listen to this guy, LORD DO NOT DO THIS INSIDE. Use a heat mat or electric griddle and a fan to FORCIBLY move the air. The first run is the best, it will be gorgeous if you filter through a fine micron filter. Even a coffee filter

A little puddle I just recovered yesterday. I though I washed it too long, it was so green it wasn't even funny. Evaporated just fine though. I use this little jar because it's thick enough to get an accurate temp reading with my gun. If it's too thin I get readings of the hotplate.IMG_20181202_090329219.jpg
