Sooo basically i was rolling up one and i had some seeds from my bud.
I decided to see if it will grow or not in my pot in my room with some kind of tropical plant in it. so i jus really dug a hole and through the seeds in there and threw some water on it and shined a lamp on it. Nothing big I didnt buy anything jus basically threw some seeds and some water on it and shined me room lamp on it. Cool ok soo anyways. the next 3 days i see plants comin out i was kinda shocked.:hump: i never grew before. before you know it its been only like a week and its 6 inches. dead ass. like so i go online read a bunch of shit on how to grow and people are sayin it takes about 2-3 weeks to get like 3 inches or something and they have this whole fuckin studio set up for there plants. I have 10 plants jus growin. and there about 6-7 inches and only a week old? How is this possible? And can i some how put it outside and still be able to grow it? cause i cant keep it in the house.

Thanks

Yes. They're totally stretched; those other people with "studios", whose plants are six inches tall, already have a whole set of foliage coming off of multiple nodes. You're obviously using an incadescent light if they're stretched that much.

I'm assuming you wouldn't mind the plants going to maturity, but you don't want to put a lot of effort into it, right? Well, switch out your current light for a CFL light or two (Compact flourescent light). You'll save energy anyway, they'll burn much cooler than your current one, and you can put two in a Y socket, if you want to dish out a few extra bucks for one. Put the lights less than six inches from the plants. Make sure you get the strongest lights your lamp can support.

Also, since they are stretched, you'll probably want to cover the plants up to those bottom leaves with dirt (even take off the leaves, and cover them- they'll likely sprout new roots). If you can't do that, then stake them.

Hopefully you don't have TEN plants in the same pot/pots. Your plants will die once they start strangling the roots of the other plants.

It's not hard to get a little bit of bud, if you follow some simple rules. But it does take skill and experience to good a LOT of GOOD bud.

Yes stretching,
It's like being in a pool underwater and your running out of breathe and your doing everything you can to get to the top so you can breathe...
Your plant is doing this toward the light because it's too far away.
get a flourescent lamp and put it a few inches from the top of the shoot.
Then it won't be desperate for photosynthesis.
