so i'm thinking about getting some spore syringes and a bag of sterile rye seed( to cheap for a pressure cooker) my question is can i inoculate with a zippo to clean the needle and alcohol swabs to clean the bag injection site. then just press the needle threw the cotton swab soaked in alcohol?.... or is that still a pretty high risk contaim? (trying to be to cheap to make a glove box lol)

if you just wait about a week im pretty detailed and im pretty cheap about how i go about things maybe you can grab some ideas from my setup. im still waiting on my spores but my glove box is pretty simple, not even 100% sealed a lot of it goes into A) how sterile everything is in the jars b) how well made the jars are(tyvek filters and RTV sealant!!) and C) the viability of the spore prints. if you get all these things right and flame the tip of the needle(shooting some fluid to cool it right after and hen wiping with alcohol between every injection(2 injections per jar) flaming between each jar you should get something going on.

popcorn tek is pretty cheap just let you jars sit without spores for a week so you can know whether they are contaminated
pressure cookers can be found on CL and ebay pretty cheap. as far as ebay goes ive had pretty good results as of recently.

One only, a single injection, 3 - 5 ccs is plenty - remeber you can shake the substrate.
