How soon do males start releasing pollen

I have a couple questions, trying to figure out how my plants were pollinated. I am running 8 seedism taste bud plants from seed and now around week 6 flowering I can see a half dozen or so swollen calyxs on a few plants that have seed in them. Now my question is how soon can males throw thier pollen? Because I switched to 12/12 a week before I went on vacation for a week. When I came back I had 2 males that were into the lighta and covered in pollen sacks. I didnt looked carefully, so I thought, and didnt see any had opened but im not experienced with male plants or breeding. Anyways I removed them. The only other way they could have been pollinated, I went to an outdoor grow site and chopped two males that were fully blown, so I could have brought pollen back on my clothing. Either way their are not many seeds at all and none on some plants. I have been checking relentlessly for hermies and have found no bananas and I have had herms before so I know exactly what it looks like.

I feel like this has been discussed before.

Search function sucks on this site, and any good information is usually buried in 40 pages on dick measurements. But yea I will google it, so sorry to inconvenience you.

Starts with an S....

ends with -earch. Can you guess it? :3

I guess it really doesnt matter because the outdoor plants were the clone donors that made the males I had indoors so it woulda been the same genetic information being passed on. I am just suprized how easy it is to polinate shit and if it was from my clothing or those two week flowering males.

Probably from the ones in the room.... common sense seems to point in that direction given that once a male has balls theycan blow at any time, ive run crosses on fast flower autos where just as soon as the balls form they are open, i mean they literally formed up wide open never even were closed so pretty safe bet it was tthem but like you said same plants outside so whys it matter? Lol

The heaviest pollen release, is anywhere after 2 weeks past when the pollen sacs appear. It's probably strain-dependent. You should also consider how try the pollen sacs are (dry ones will just open or fall off) and how much wind there is (pollen can be blown out of cracked sacs, etc). In general, once you see one pod open up, the rest are right about to open as well. ---- This is experience from indoor growing, btw.
