How small cutting could be?

What is the smallest (height) of cutting did you guys managed to clone? I have two week old seedlings about 5-8 inch tall, what if I just pinch a top with 2 nodes (1 inch) and try to clone? What do you think, any chances of rooting?

If it hasn't received nitrogen, otherwise i doubt it...But I have a friend who claims he could clone a toothpick with just super glue and water...so who knows !

5-8 should be dead in the middle of what your trying to cut. i have gone as small as 4 inches or so a couple times with a couple reveg clones

I have been feeding them with almost full strength nutes for a week now.

That makes it hard to root before it dies

Yes I have also read that 4 inches is minimum but does anyone here tried less that that?

Ive done a 2 inch clipping from a mature plant

You want less nutes not more in the cuttings.

Flowering nutes are fine but cutting back nitrogen and clipping gives me 99% success

I'll cut the nitrogen 24h before, but has anyone done smaller than 2 inch =D
