How much water?

I am experimenting with growing outdoors and i have three plants that are all around two feet tall. They are still vegging and not flowering yet and i can only visit them twice or three times a day. I have one in a five gallon container and it is filled with soil about two inches from the top. Usually i water them until the soil is thoroughly wet (kinda just an estimation). Some people tell me that its not good to water them everyday during vegetation, but the soil gets so dry considering it gets up to 95 degrees fahrenhite almost everyday where i live so i feel bad for them and end up watering them. Oh and my plants are about a month and a half old. when do you think they will start flowering?
Thanks in advance:peace::joint::blsmoke:

Plants outdoors.. will start flowering whenever they are good and ready. Or, when the nights become 12 hours or longer.. and the days become 12 hours or shorter. Plain and simple.

Also, watering them every day.. isn't good for them actually. Even if the top layer of the soil is dry.. there's still moisture in the deeper levels inside the pot. Usually its enough to sustain the plants life for an extra day or so. I would try watering them every other day... to keep from accidently over watering them. But then again, I don't grow outdoors and never have. I am an indoor grower and will never switch to outdoors.

So again, I'm not sure on what advice I could give to try and help you out here... except for what I just told you. Try watering every other day..

Or, go and buy yourself a moisture meter. They work wonders.. 90% of the guess work is out the window when using one.

So again, being a indoor only grower.. I can't really help ya much. Except for what I just told ya.

Good luck on your ladies!

outdoors they will flower when the seasons change. indoors we fake this by changing the bulbs to 2700k and run 12/12.
Sorry wish i could be of more help.

It doesn't really matter when they were planted. Just depends on the light cycle. I'd say they should begin to flower around mid to late August because that's when the cycle should change. If your plants soil is dry, give it water. Don't be afraid. If you give her too much water, she'll let you know. I'm not saying to flood the soil, but just keep doing what you're doing. Sounds like they've been growing fine to me. Hope this helps.
