How much to expect with basic setup for first timer?

Hi all,
So never thought about growing till recently, and after having discovered this site, Im definitely thinking I'm gonna do it.

I'm still very new to this, just started reading a lot about it today. If I get a good aerogarden, and add very basic extra lights (space is concern), but have no fans or AC (it would be in my closet), how much can I expect to harvest and how long does it take? For example, would it be 5 g a plant with 3 plants and 60 days? Thats just a random example because I have no clue.

i remember i had the same exact idea as you. i started to get tired of buying marijuana.. and at this moment i still am. so i found this website and got interested in growing indoors. i had a friend that grew outdoodrs and it was the shit. but we smoked all 10 pounds of bud in 7 months. so when we ran out we decided to get cannibus recomendations but we were buying bud instead of growing. in feb of this year i purchased a hydro set. i bougt a general hydroponics 8 water farm system, 1000 w horitlux light bulb, a really good hood. i dont know the name brand, a switchable ballast, fans, pumps etc, anyways it a cost me about 1,200 dollars and yes this is all in my closet. http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_edit?ns=1&video_id=TBv_kzhJbyM. check out my youtube page. if you have limited space and you have acess to clones,go with a big cardboard box. line it up with mylar cut holes for your fans and buy cfl light bulbs you proabably will have to use about 8 of them for 3 plants. look at fluorex light bulbs they are nice also use the warm spectrum ones for flowering. go with soil also for a first timer dont do hydro. soil is more foregiving. make sure you get clones about 4 inches in height with a good root system and start to bud after a few days. you can proabably harvest close to a oz if you do it right
