How much super soil to use per container?

Been reading a lot about super soil, found one thing perplexing.

A lot of his threads are inconsistent on how much super soil to use. I've seen him say "3/4 full", "4-6 inches", "Half full", and "30-50%". All of which are different measurements. Aside from the "4 - 6 inches" they're reasonably similar, but I'm still not sure which one to go with... This is using standard #10 nursery pots.

However I really do love the way this recipe looks, thanks for all the great work Subcool, I really appreciate reading these organic threads.

The most consistent answer ive come across is a 50/50 mix potting soil on top and the super soil or "hot" soil on the bottom. hope this helps im planning on starting super soil next grow. Gotta get rid of like 3 gallon of roots i got left ha.

put 40 percent hot on the bottom. fill remaining 60 percent with base. dig a hole in the base big enough to place 1 gal in. pop in the 1 gal, then cover with another inch or so of base. his youtube channel has at least two transplant videos. one is pretty recent.

Thanks much guys, I haven't had a chance to check out his Youtube videos, I'm going to check 'em out now.

hope this helps im planning on starting super soil next grow.

Right on, all these grow journals show amazing results and yields, I haven't gotten tired of reading super soil threads yet.
