I went ahead and bought maxibloom to do the lucas formula and it says to use 7 grams of dry fert and thats all i need should i feed full? gonna start 3rd week of flowering... Or should i use half of this? Reads out 5-15-14

Never done autos and never will but every feedback I have heard is growers ease back on the nutes a little compared with Photoperiods.

how did the autos react to the 7 grams of maxibloom? was it too strong?

My calculations say 7g of MaxiBloom in 1gal of water will produce 862ppm. That doesn't sound crazy high for a plant in bloom. If you're in soil you might get salt build up. 6g will give you 739ppm. 5g = 616ppm. I'd probably do 5.5g in soil.

Thanks! Would that be 5.5g every time watering?
Also, how about autos? like a lowryder in soil or in a hempy bucket?

Yes, every watering. If you get nute burn or salt buildup, reduce the amount every watering. You can play with alternating feed/water. I've read that it helps beneficial microbes recover from the synthetic nutrients. But, to me, it seems like it's the same either way. Less harm continuously? Or, more harm followed by recovery.

Monitor your runoff ph and ppm. The trend of those numbers can help you know if you should decrease the amount or play with water-only feedings. (Or, if there's room for stronger nutes.).

I grow photos and autos. I use the same strengths for both.

Sounds good, thanks a lot!
