Milky and clear can go back and forth during stages of growth. Another thing that will make a difference is if you are growing Indica Dom or Sativa Dom. Indica is shorter duration and Sativa is longer. Start by scanning the white to orange hair ratio. When they're at about 50/50 bust out the mic and start checking the trichs. If you like body stone let em go long if you like head high cerebral highs take em early. Once they start going milky you probably wanna check them more often so they don't go past the stage you prefer. Good pickin's.

Ummm... Ha ha, i think about 7 weeks. I didn't have a calendar yet when I did and I smoked quite a few times so its just a guess. All the hairs are still white so I'm not sure if its even that old but the trichs are comin along nice. Im guessin about 3 more weeks, but ill just watch

If you're still all white don't worry about it. Just start checkin' more frequently once you start seeing oranges.
