How much lime

I have got some lime to control PH levels in my FFOF soil because I had some issues on my last crop, but i'm unsure exactly how much to mix in?

This is what I'm thinking 1 gal soil + 1/4 gal perlite + ??? lime

What do you guys do?

also, should I still use cal-mag if i add lime to soil?

Thanks

I have the strips/drip test, I know they suck but i use them both and work out an average. I just want to know how much lime people mix in with their potting soil.

No more than 2 tablespoons of DOLOMITE lime per gallon of soil mix. I use 1 tbsp. Make sure it is dolomitic lime.

Thanks bud, i was thinking around 2 tablespoons also. And yes, it's dolomitic lime. I probably should have said that, it is pretty important.
