how much light do seedlings need????

i'm staring some seedlings inside now for my outside grow.. Do i gotta keep them 16/8 or can it vary a little bit.. Basically i'm asking can i turn the light on in the morning when i get up say 7:30am and shut it back off when i go to bed at like 11:00. There in my bedroom and i dont really wanna sleep w/ a light on

ya, over 16 hours, or so, should keep them vegging. put them in a box and keep them on 24/7.

theres only 2 of them..
i always just sprout and plant outside but i have read on here alot of people give them a little head start and say its make a huge difference so i figured i would try on a few and see for myself. The majority of my plants will be sprouted then planted outside after the weather breaks for good

you dont want the soil temps higher than 80 and you want the ambient temps @ 75F
