How much larger can a plant grow when switched to 12/12?

-I'm trying to figure out how big I wanna build my 18/6 & 12/12 grow tents. Iv heard that the plants can 2x and maybe 3x in size when put into 12/12? Is this true, will they grow that much more?

yup stretch 2-3ft....dual spec bulbs can cut it down a bit

That is correct, by the end of the stretch phase of flowering they should be 2-3x the size they were when put into 12/12.

This means I have to account for that when I'm choosing when to put her in to 12/12 right? If my grow tents height is 5 ft then I Should only veg her to a height of 2ft at most?

sativas generally stretch more than indicas, topped plants usually stretch less than untopped plants. if you have a single cola plant, i would flower at about 18 inches.

my plants were just about 20" when i put them under a 1000w hps for flowering. they are now almost 4 feet tall, so yeah, they do grow a bit.

depends on the space, number of plants, grow strategy, horizontal area. if you plan on doing no topping and no training then yeah, about 2 ft is where i'd start flowering.
