Are you trying to grow organically in coco? If so, most people have issues doing that.

But I'm a fan of langbeinite. Start small since it's potent.

I mix it into top dressing mixes usually, but you can dilute it in water too for quicker access. I have a magnetic stirrer I use sometimes for mixing stuff like that. Just go light to start with until you've used it a bit.

But like these guys are saying, you want a complete fertilizer, not just K.

Yes, I am! Does this stuff dissolve well? I was planning on dissolving a tsp in a gallon of water and build up from there.

I refuse. I have been using nutrients like Jack's for a long ass time, and this time around I'm trying to keep it organic. I do have compost and more one shot available, and I am also willing to use liquid kelp. I think thats "complete" enough.
Why not get a balanced organic nute to topdress with? It'll make things a lot easier. You keep adding compost, but eventually you're gonna run out of room in pot.

Or if you want to mix your own I'd get some other shit to add in.

I hope I'm not asking too many questions, but are there any drawbacks to langbeinite? I am most concerned with it imparting a taste...

Wouldn't the N and P from the One Shot amendment be enough? I assume tap water will take care of the rest...
Never heard of it so I looked it up. It's mostly P. So a little of that along with langbeinite would be a decent mid-later flower nute. I'd still get something else that's higher in N though.

It's really easy to overdose with langbeinite, I have in the past when I was experimenting with amendments. I don't know why they made that one-shot fertilizer without K....it isn't one shot if you need to buy another shot.
Agreed. It really isn't "one-shot"

Not sure how you'd figure that out with coco, but like pada and rurumo pointed out, a little goes a long ways. I make my own water only soil and only add half a cup per 3cubic ft of soil.

How much Langbenite is good during the first few weeks of flower in 5 gallon pots? Also, what does it look like when/if you overdose with langbenite?
