Hey im growing out side, in a clay/topsoil/dead roots mix, but i tilled it up so its really lose and stuff. I know its not the best soil to grow in but its all i got out in the woods.

I know they wont grow as big as they could, which is fine because i already have 12 plants and will be taking clones so ill have 30 plants. But will it affect the thc levels alot? I would think it wouldnt but idk

what do u think?

Don't know about the thc levels, but you could maybe get some better dirt nearby. Check out the soil around the tress and bushes, where the leaves have been falling for X amount of years.

I've always heard the argument that bud is better if its grown in dirt. but i don't really know cause i've had both and can't tell any difference.

Of course what you grow your weed in affects the thc level. How can it not?

The soil is what feeds your plants and if you have the best soil with all the appropriate nutrients then you are going to have a healthier plant.
The more healthy the plant the better the flowers. Nicer flowering....more THC...of course strain, sunlihgt and all kinds of other things come into play.

If I were you I would dig some big holes and purchase some perlite, dolmite lime, and some good quality compost.

Get some armsfuls of dead leaves and some peat moss. You can even toss in some wood ash if it is a pine forest.

The wood ash and the dolomite lime with balance out the acidic soil and the use of peat moss.

Add layers of this all back inot the hole while watering well.
This will add some more nutrients and moisture to your dirt;)
