How much do you think she will yield? First grow

He is right, the only way to get big cfl yields is to get a lot of lights in there, like as many as possible, and have some way of hanging them so that they are right up to the foliage. As the plant grows you have to adjust the lights daily and pay a lot of attention to getting the lights as close as possible but not too close. Cfl grows can be tricky to do right and usually smaller yields as result. A zip off of a sativa cfl grow is pretty good actually for a beginner to growing, I am impressed.

I moved her this morning to a place where I could get the tubes no more than an inch and a half away from the buds... I'm hoping this will help her thicken her buds up. I'll post pictures in a little bit.

Hey skippy... you said that girl was only 30" inches tall right now?? And from the looks of it I would say you are working with a hybrid plant... so we will say you should finish flower in another 3-6 weeks. That being said you are prob past your main stretch window and the plant will start packing on bud weight? Is there a way you could arrange the floro tubes so that they are vertical and run the height of the plant? This would allow you to almost build a ring of light around your plant. If you put a fan above to pull the air out, I think you will be quite pleased with where your temps stay and how well you can surround your plant with light. Not to sure of your setup.. but you said you just changed it.. so I will wait to see the pics before adding anything else

Thanks for the help man... But yeah I have been running the lights vertical and I haven't had to move the cfl's up anymore so I'm positive she's done stretching.

My temp usually stays between 72-80 during the day and 65-72 at night... this sound about right?

Here are pics from today:

Honestly bro I would ditch the CFL's and get make a full circle around that thing with the tubes. Get yourself 3 more fixtures like you have there. You could even wrap some reflective wrapping paper or panda film around the top half of the floro fixtures to keep the light from escaping if you can't afford to get more fixtures. You just want to keep all that light focused on your plant, not escaping from the fixtures. Those tubes in the reflectors will give light to your plant from all angles. I assume you have the right spectrum bulbs in there?

Yeah i'm using 3100K tubes. I'll be able to afford 2 or 3 more 80w t8 fixtures on monday (but not right now)... do you think it will still be worth it by then?

Sure will, you are just starting to get into the phase where energy is really focused on bud growth. you may want to get some 2700k or 2200K and mix them in on Monday if you can. I think you will be in good shape after that. Goodluck and I will try to answer anymore questions you may have.

Before we get all pompous in here... As far as me finding it in my yard, I guess you'll just have to take my word for it. As for me thinking its Northern Lights... relax kid, just an educated guess... a little light reading and you'll find that the general consensus is that NL has a low odor in comparison with other strains.

Thanks for the input?
Sorry you post just sounds like a 12 year old looking for attention.
