How much damage does lowering watts do?

Sup.. So I'm trying to get some insight on something. Some plants were receiving more light in the first couple weeks and then given a bit less but still an adequate amount to grow. I figured they would maybe stretch a bit but I think instead they're trying to produce more growth spots asap. Anyone have some experience with this?

It should be good. It just won’t grow as much as other plants that receive more light (depending on the plants conditions)

You don’t mention light type at all.
My bad, I rotated lights a little bit at first. There was 2 23w 2700k cfls, 2 11w 6500k leds, and a 65w 300w equivalent 5000k led cob style led. I bought an led shop light to replace to hot a spacious other lights, 58w actual 4000k. Commercial electric 2ft led shop light from Home Depot. I now have that and 2 23w 2700k cfls in there, so it's less watts but they're lined up better. About 2 hours till they wakeup so I'll have a better idea of what they're doing. Just switched to 12/12 2 days ago.
