Im planning on growing 1 plant.. probably lowryder 2 AK47, and I am planning on making a cabinet. I was just wondering about lighting, as I am planning on getting some CFL'S, but I have no idea what wattage to buy. Does anyone know how many watts I will need to grow just 1 plant?

Make sure look at the actual wattage instead of equivalent wattage. Usually 100 - 150 watts per plant is the standard.

If you're only growing 1 plant in a small cabinet, might I suggest using T5 high-output florescent bulbs. They'll cost a little more than CFLs initially, but you'll get much more even light coverage and you'll save energy. In a small cabinet they work wonders. If you choose to go the CFL route, get the highest wattage bulb you can find. A couple 75 Watt bulbs will work fine. You can use lower wattage bulbs, but you'll need more of them. Light intensity is directly related to yield. That's why most experienced growers use HID lamps.
