How many tops per 2 sq ft

So like the title says how many tops per 2 sq ft just looking for people's opinions I have a 2.4x1.2 tent with 2 600w air cooled hoods and 8 pineapple chunk I have already topped them at 4th or 5th node can't remember now then tied them down at the second node of the top then I have topped them and was then planing to top 2 more when they have caught up hence tying the main 2 down I hope that makes sense

14 views no reply would like a reply even if just how many you have doesn't have to be what you think is ideal could still help what's people's opinions more tops for smaller buds or less for fatter

I would say 9 tops max per sq foot. 4"x4" space per top

Do you think I could manage that that's 36 per plant in 2 sq ft I think it would be possible in a scrog with less plants training them but I have 8 in that space do you think I should have four main tops and top them all 3 times or would twice do and let some side branches become tops

This is one of them they have been abused a little bit I only get about half an hr to an hr to do anything coz of location and all they have had is a and b nutrients quite skint at the mo and my mate looking after them doesn't really no anything about growing

8 hybrids in 2 sq.ft will not really leave you much room for much training/topping.

Try not to go over 2 main colas per plant & flower immediately after recovery, should give you 8+ tops per sq.ft

Also, why 400+ watts/ft2? Not a good idea at all.

he is mixing up his terms, he mean 2ft sq which is 4 sq ft. 4x8 tent is 32sq ft divided by 8 plants is 4 sq ft each. if you top them twice more you will get 32 tops, which is a max again i say. you could easily do 16 tops each.
