How many seeds does your average plant produce?

Say approxamately if your plants have been vegged for a month and flowered as normal, how many seeds are they likely to produced if you pollinate all branches at the right time. Over 1000? Some over 2000? Ranges are fine. Say 1.5 oz of buds worth of seeds if that helps narrow things down!!

Thanks for reading

well... my buddy pollinated after a grow gone not as planned he decided to just let all the plants take their natural course in the wrong. I think he had 4 plants and 3 were female. he said he had to have at least HUNDREDS of seeds. so I mean... you'd have enough seeds to keep you growing for some time.

ah ok. Sounds like strain variance might have a big influence from what ive just heard. See I got like 400 for half an oz of lowrider... So you owuld think you could easily achieve over a thousand with most normal plants.

a buddy of mine grew in a cabinet, with a 400w light, and didnt realize one of his plants was a male... it pollenated the females, and if they get enough pollen they will produce more seeds than bud... like out of a nug that should weigh 7 grams there would be 400 seeds... i collected 1/2 a mason jar of just seeds from that crop... i probably threw that many away too....
