How many plants in 1m?

Ok im thinking about 1000w hps,thats enough to cover 10ft room if I understand right,but how do you stack it? Do plants require space or you put them near each other as much as possible to win more plants? Im thinking about indica as it yelds most.Btw 1 lamp to cover all 10 ft is better or lets say 3x 400 covers everything better,thanks!about how much plants for this space? 10,20 seeds?

1 1kw light for 10ft of length? Hell no. I think 3 400 would be much better for that. Though preferable I'd be using 2 600's and have space to walk around. You're brand new, I'm just new. Your best bet is lower plant count and train em to produce more. I have successful harvests. Im on #3 bout to harvest soon. My regrets this time with too many plants were:
Not enough light penetration
Harder to keep a handle on moisture control
Needed more air circulation
Had to use smaller pots. If I had just used bigger pots with less plants, I'd have had much better success.

Get 2-600's, to cover a 4x4 space in the tent 2 times. Whcich will give you walking room, and working room.4-6 plants under each, and train for a level canopy. Get an XXXL hood, and get is good of tsmp control as you can, to put it as close as you can and get the most amount of lumens on your canopy, evenly.

I used to use two liter bottles with the tops cut off...I ran 2 pieces of clothes line thru the drainage holes and up into the soil for wicks...and lined them up as many as i could fit in Tupperware containers. I would put my clones into flower 2 weeks after rooting and would bottom feed using the wicks by pouring my nutrient solution into the Tupperware containers full of plants. This made watering easy as the plants used as much as they wanted. When done I would end up with 20"-30" plants that were nothing but large colas as big around as my arms...usually 1/2 - 3/4 oz per plant figure 30 in a container...3 containers in little more than a meter2 =45...50 oz

A friend of mine grows 12 colas in the same space as big around as his legs and 6 feet long LOL Its all in what you want to do ...weed is a weed. It will play along
