I personally in that space would do 4-6 plants in a scrog to maximize the yield could be a pound maybe more that depends on a lot more factors then just the space N light

you should get a lot more than 1 lb from a 1000w hps
a 600w hps will give 1lb easy enough
5-6 plants will fill the space fast
as it is your first grow, if they reach full maturity without too many problems you have done well
when its all finally tuned and you got it all working you should get 20-30 oz from that light without much hassle if you grow high yielding plants
i got a NLXBB here that will produce 10 oz per plant easy, from a 4ft plant
in the same space other strains will only produce 3-4 oz from a similar size plant

northern lights x bigbud it was a free seed from world of seeds it is an excellent producer
the smell is very strong and piney .. it even smells very strong in veg of pine
the taste is piney with a little skunk the flavor is not so strong as the smell, the high is nice typical skunk high overall its worth keeping
its such a pleasure to grow a plant that grows so easy as this, it needs no real maintenance, i did top it as it was getting taller than the others
but other than that it grows in a perfect shape with 90% of the yield concentrated naturally on large colas this plant made 12 larger colas
and a small amount of lower bud ,, it did not grow to its full potential as it was sharing space with my other plants, and it still yielded 10 oz

no worries m8, i think its fem only though , most of the world of seed strains are fems
i only buy reg seeds myself .. but i do grow out the free fems from time to time
normally the free seeds are shit low germ rate, but every once in a while you get a winner

I have yet to get a freebie that is a keeper. They always turn out puny for me and nothing special compared to the regs.

hey m8 it was topped just before flower at 4 weeks from seed at just over 1.5 ft tall .. i topped it as it was getting taller than the others
it grows very fast in veg .. topping it proved to be a good idea, i think i will always top it now the more colas it makes the better yield
all the colas will get very fat if they get good light
this plant is so easy recognizable in veg, it has very distinct leaves with zig zag sharp edges not rounded like most other strains
and the smell in veg is very strong of pine, the same kind of smell the finished buds have
