How many hours....? [Cannabutter]

Hi.

Just wondering how many hours you should cook the cannabutter? Ive seen all kinds of answers on this one.

From 10 minutes, to 24 HOURS.

Will 1.5h - 2h be OK for trimmaterial?

seriously have not seen different in potency myself from 2 hours to 12

just my 2 cent. cannabutter is not worth the time. buy urself some wacky hash bags. if u

want butter use the hash much more potent.

meh... you can get 25-800 micron filters on ebay for 4.99 NOT as good as the above items but worked fine for me..

i just ordered a 160 full mesh gallon bag from willies so i can make some dry ice hash. i've heard good things and the prices are good.

however it's not nice to jack someone's thread to tell them that their idea sucks. shame.

when i make butter in the crock pot i set it on low and do it for 24 hours and i only stir about 4 times. i've never done a shorter run but from what everyone says 24 hours isn't needed. i just like how it makes my house smell

well total head ur absolutely right.

i take 4 or 5 z's and put in crock pot with 3 sticks of non salted butter. put on high, lrt grt hot, turn on low for 2 to 3 hrs. stirring frequently.b i let it sit for a bit to cool somewhat. i pour mix into an old t=shirt. then squeeze all the butter i can get out. then if u want5 to refine it so it tastes better. recook it and remove all liquid. u can also remove any gelitan type crap from it . that stuff make it taste bad. good luck with however u choose to make it.

Recipe I use calls for warm setting on crockpot for 18 hours
