How many clones can you take off a mother per cycle?

i take 42 clones 1 month before harvest(from a mom in veg)and the day after harvest i clean my flower room and put 36 of those clones in a 14" deep,4' x 4' bed,veg for 7-12 days and flip again(i use time release dagda nutes and apply day 1 and day 30....i get 1.75-2lbs every 9-9.5 weeks,give or take a few days,its a 52 day strain,but add 9-14 days for the clones to veg

i like your set up! very efficient.
do you have any info on what light you give it or does it not really matter (light type, color temperautre) as long as its more "veggy"? and do you use less or more light on mothers than for the flowering room?

im assuming thats 400w veg in preparation to flower, then 1000w in flowering. is that normal? havent seen anyone go less light in veg, usually same wattage veg and flower? not too sure, kinda new.
furthermore, do you have insight on mother veg lighting power, or did you mean 400w just for mothers only?
if i was vegging 36+ clones in the veg room id use 1000w,but i only have a mom and 9 small chem91 in there so 400w is plenty....thats why i veg for 10 days in the flower room,1000w is much better for lots of plants.if i tried to veg 36 clones with a 400w it would take much longer to reach the height i get from 1000w

There are a lot of possible variables. Some will only take what they need. That can be all over the place. You didn't specify the size of the mother. Or I didn't see it since I didn't read all of the responses.
The most important rule is to not take more than 30% of a plants growth at one time. There will be differences of opinion on this. It is a general rule and you can take more without it being absolutely detrimental but to maintain overall health and vigor it's a safe number for an upper limit. Just how many cuttings that is will depend on the size of the plant.
