How Many CFM for a 600W Cool Tube?

depends on how big the box is you need to figure out your cubic feet of your box which is LxWxH then take that number and divide CFM with it and you should get how much cubic feet per minute the air rotates in the box... you should have atleast once a minute i think it people say anywhere from 5 times a minute to once every 3 minutes so it really depends on the temps you get in the box and how much heat that bulb is putting out

thank you! the air temp where the tent is going is quite low, night-10c, day-15c.
the tent will be a Secret Jardin :D
5x5x6.5' = 162.5' cubic feet

complete vent in in 1 minute. probably a bit slow, due to probable bends in ducting.

next option. Fan Speed Adjuster, used on this 340 CFM 6" inline fan
speed adjuster ( http://www.greners.com/fans-ventila...peed-controllers/duct-fan-speed-adjuster.html )
6" fan ( http://illumalights.com/Accessories/6-Inline-Fan-Filter-and-Hose-Combo.html )

would probably adjust to roughly no less then 180CFM to achieve good circulation for the plants, as well as keeping the glass cool tube and bulb cool.

any opinions on fan/speed controller/etc greatly appreciated

i dont see why that wouldn't work out but as long as you can adjust it to make it higher regardless of the noise i dont know how much heat that bulb puts out or the temps inside when everything is running but i think your good its a good chunk of change so some more people agreeing would also b assuring im sure :-) lol good luck man :leaf:
