How Many Can I Cram Under a 150HPs?

Shits driving me crazy!

i use 3 x 70 watt hps, i reckon 2 is plenty under a 150 .

Well it depends on how big the plants are. You could consider keeping a mother plant under 18/6 Vegetative state in one room, and your HPS at 12/12, and doing a little mini sog or scrog. I would put maybe like 5-6 rooted clones under a 150 watt, and if the mother plant is sexually mature, then the clones will be sexually mature as soon as they root and will be ready to flower regardless of size. This will grow a small christmas shaped plant and you should be able to get 1g per watt.

When you say sexually mature, you mean when she has the white hairs?

Or when shes old enuff, and you just leave the 18/6 and dont let her flower?

Mary Jane from seeds will take around 30 days to reach sexual maturity. It takes humans around 12-13 years to reach sexual maturity. When I say, "sexual maturity", I am referring to the age at which pot plants are CAPABLE of reproducing. Optimally, Mother plants are kept under an 18/6 lighting schedule to prevent the plant from flowering/budding, although the plant has reached sexual maturity, it doesn't mean that it will begin developing buds for reproduction. That's what i'm saying, keep a mother plant in vegetative state (18/6) and do not flower her; and just take 5 clones every 2 months to keep your system 'perpetual'. This way, you don't have to grow your plants from seeds and wait 30 days before they reach sexual maturity because at 30 days old, they will probably be too big to all fit under your 150Watter. What i'm saying is take 5-10 clones and give them about 6 square inches each, and as soon as they root, they will be ready to flower in 12/12 mode.
