How low is low when cooking canabutter?

No bubbles, decent about of bubbles or very few?? i've heard 30 min is good, is that right?

This is over a stove with a stick of butter and 2 cups of water mixing in hash

makin some brownies for kings island!!

I always cook my weed in coconut oil since it is hard at room temp and it has 100% fat content making the strongest brownies you will ever eat. just add water to the mix and water boils at a lower temp so the THC wont burn and since oil is lighter than water it will float, then after cooking put the mix in the fridge over night and in the morning you are going to have some great stuff
 
in the process of the above method, any tips on the fly?

Keep the temperature down and take your time. The longer it simmers the better. If it gets over about 325 degrees it's going to be burning off THC so keep the temps down. I get it just hot enough that it bubbles, then back it down right to where it stops bubbling. Simmer it at that temperature for a good few hours. You'll be fuckin' bombed.

Yeah....a good long while. You'll know when the water is just about gone.

If you have a cheesecloth it's best to strain it using one into a jar where it can go to cool. Put it in the fridge overnight and in the morning you'll be able to pull a plug of butter off the top. Scrape the bottom of that plug clean of all the water sludge (should only be on the bottom). The better you scrape that nasty shit off the better the brownies will taste.
 
Important note: Squeeze the shit out that cheesecloth (use rubber gloves without powder if you have them) and get all your butter out. This will catch all of the solids so you have just a nice greenish/yellow glowing plug of butter with a great cannabis smell.

Might have to do this again this weekend! I went through a period about 3 months ago trying to find the absolute best method of making brownies and started making them twice a week to find the best method.

I've done oils, butters, higher temps, lower temps, longer cooking, shorter cooking and found that lower temps longer cooking works the best. It really keeps from killing off the thc and gives a strong butter without super strong disgusting taste.
