How long will Mothers live?

I just finished setting up my grow room, and a friend is going to give me some clones. I plan on keeping two as mothers, but I was wondering how long you can use a plant as a mother kept under 18/6 light.

i've heard of moms being 20 years old so take care of em and train em to bend or how ever you want em and you should have 1000's of clones from her one day

indefinitely as long as you keep it on the veg cycle.- i.e. 18/6.

I had my first ever mother plant....a skunk # 1 plant.....I kept her alive for 3 years in a Phototron.

I know someone for a fact the plant is over 15 years old. When I was a little kid and visited I remember it in her bedroom and here i am as a adult and its still in the same spot

well, MY mom's about 75 and...oh you mean the OTHER important lady in my life. Oh, forever till you screw somethimng up, just keep her in a 18/6 and she'll keep on kicking out babies (clones) for you
