so my 400 watt hps is way to hot for my room, so i gotta wait til i get money for an inline fan to be able ta set it up....my plants are 2 weeks old but were not growing because my 400 watter put the temp over 90's
even with 2 big ass fans pushin the hot air out....so i put my shop light back on them how long will those last for???

years, or until you break the bulb. Fluoro lights are rated for about 6 years each. Might be enough time to grow a plant.

You can Veg the whole time under a shop light with cool white or gro lux bulbs as long as the plants can be spaced apart enough not to crowd each other for light. You might even be surprised with your results, seems to be the right amount of growth to light ratio, your stems will grow the proper thickness to support the weight as it goes under shop lights.

dam didnt kno that...well ill prob get another shop light, so ill have 4 shop light bulbs, 2 each shop light....and then when i get paid i can get the inline fan and it all be gravy, throw that on, veg wit it til time to flower, or til i get the proper ventilation

found a hydro store pretty close and they had a 4" inline for 130
u think that would take out all the heat of a closet that is 2x7??
and keep the temps down

Sounds like you are set, I'd just use the shop lights and then when it's time to flower switch to the HPS. 4 bulbs would work out great.

There is a lot of variables involved in cooling but it looks like you are only trying to take it down a few degrees so you should be ok. Remember that you will only cool it down to room temperature. If the room is 95 degrees and you add a fan you will be circulating 95 degree air thru the closet, understand ?

ya, thats why i am trying to get a 4" inline fan, and have it exhaust it out the top of my apartment...the only thing is there is another apartment on top of me...but i beleive there is a space between the top of my apartment and bottom of theirs that the air will be able to pass threw, and journey outside....what do you think?

I don't know, I didn't design the building. There will be a space between your ceiling and their floor, where it goes will be hard to tell, it will be disappated somewhere.

You could find a drain pipe and tap into it, the sewage will mask any smell you would pump into it.
